Book, reschedule and cancel on a calendar
With the Calendar early access on and a calendar added to a receptionist, it can check live openings, book, reschedule and cancel reservations, each verb a separate switch. The caller is texted a confirmation when a reservation is booked, moved or cancelled. The calendar event carries the caller's name and phone and a line of context from the call.
Calendars and reservation log on Calendars page
The Calendar Capability menu gained a Calendars page where you add calendars with weekly hours, a duration and days off, and connect each to Google Calendar. A Reservation log below lists bookings, with a cancel action and a move to a new time, and the caller is texted about the change.
Ask for a pickup time
A commerce setup gained an Ask for a pickup time switch and a Location pick. When on, the receptionist asks for a pickup time, attaches it to the Square order and confirms it aloud.
Named capabilities per receptionist
Each capability you add to a receptionist takes a name you choose, such as Front desk, and that name is used on cards, in prompts and in spoken lines. A capability without a name cannot be saved.
Numbers connect to routes on one page
The Phone Numbers page is where a number picks the route it answers with, saved with an explicit Save. The call flow editor is now route-centric: you pick or create a route there and its numbers are shown read-only.
Customers under Business Settings
The Customers view moved into Business Settings, since customers belong to the business, not to commerce. It lists callers by phone and name with order count, last order and first seen, and searches by phone number or name.
Behind the scenes. Providers are connected first and attached to a capability explicitly, and the calendar engine's own rules decide what the AI may offer.
