Voicemail joins the call flow, notifications per route

A voicemail step for keypad menus, per-route notifications in early access, fallback chains and AI routes in the call flow editor, and searchable documents.

Take a voicemail in your call flow

A call flow step can now send the caller to voicemail. You set the greeting as text or a recording, the caller hears a beep and can leave a message of up to two minutes. The message lands in the call log as a Voicemail call with its own type and its own rate, and you can play it from the call page.

Notifications set per route, in early access

IVR Routing has an IVR Notifications page for accounts in the notifications early access: pick a route, then the whole route or one element such as a receptionist or a voicemail, and add as many notification blocks as you like, each sent by SMS, email or Slack. You can write your own message with click-to-insert variables and a sample preview, leave it empty to send the default message, and send yourself a test against a recent call. The old Settings, Notifications page is gone and WhatsApp is no longer offered as a notification channel.

A simple per-call summary switch

Each receptionist in AI Staff has a Send me a summary after every call switch. It sends a fixed summary of each call to your account email, or to your phone when the account has no email, with no further setup.

Fallback chains, modes and AI routes

Every connection carries its own if-nobody-answers fallback, fallbacks can chain with an optional announcement before each try, and each menu option can be answered by pressing the key, saying it aloud, or either. The receptionist's transfer rules moved out of receptionist settings into the editor as AI routes: when the caller asks for something, the call goes to a number, a receptionist or a spoken message the receptionist answers with in place. Saving publishes the flow and the editor says so.

Transfers from the receptionist complete

Mid-call transfers that were being rejected now complete, and a transfer whose target does not answer runs its fallback instead of skipping it.

Documents your receptionist can reference

Upload plain text or Markdown files to a receptionist in AI Staff, the renamed Receptionist settings, where each file shows Processing, Ready or Failed and a ready document is searchable during calls, so menus and price lists can be answered from it. The Call Routing menu group is now IVR Routing. The chat panel can be minimized to a corner bubble to give the page the full width.

Behind the scenes. Every call is now stamped with the exact route that carried it, so records and notifications attribute correctly when one number has several routes.
