The receptionist speaks your caller's language
Owners could set the receptionist to one language or let it detect and answer in the caller's language. A language picker and a voice picker arrived in the knowledge base. Voices were filtered to the chosen language, and multilingual voices were offered in detection mode.
Name, personality and voice
Owners gave the receptionist a name, chose a style template and wrote style instructions. A preview showed the instructions the receptionist works from, with its voice, language and language mode. Call settings added a maximum call length and a call recording switch, off unless turned on.
Call details with sentiment
Each call opened into its own page with caller name, reason for calling, key topics, summary, action items and a recording player when a recording existed. Sentiment became a column in the call log, rows became clickable, search covered caller names, and a call record could be deleted.
Call alerts by text message
After-call alerts could go by text message as well as email. Owners chose email, text or both and set the phone number for texts, or let the channel follow how they signed up. The text carried the caller, duration, a summary snippet and a link to the call detail.
Forwarding codes sent to your phone
Carrier dial codes could be sent by text or email instead of read off a screen. Cricket, Metro by T-Mobile, Boost Mobile, Sprint and US Cellular joined AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile, and codes became tappable to open the dialer. Owners without a website could describe the business instead of scanning a homepage.
Sign in with a one-time code
Password sign-in was turned off. Owners signed in with a six-digit code sent to their email or phone. Signup asked for a name, an email or phone number and acceptance of the terms. Deleting an account marked it for removal of all its data.
Trial accounts
A business could be placed on a trial with a minutes budget and an end date. The dashboard and billing page showed the trial end date and included minutes, a welcome email explained the trial, and an expired trial sent the owner back to onboarding to subscribe.
More ways to pay and buy credits
Credits became extra usage bought in any amount above a minimum, with the card on file shown before paying. Auto-reload gained a low-balance threshold and a top-up level. The plan picker gained an annual option when offered, and a billing portal opened from settings to add or change a payment method.
Behind the scenes. Website scanning was simplified to the homepage only, and the receptionist retrained automatically after each scan.
