US and Canada numbers only, said on every phone field

Every phone field is a +1 field that says US and Canada only, text alerts and the Terms say the same, and emails retry once after a dropped connection.

Every phone field is a +1 field

Login, sign-up, your business profile, the try-it dialog, forwarding numbers in the call flow editor, the security settings and every other phone field now carry a fixed +1 and take the ten national digits. Validation says plainly to enter a valid US or Canada number.

An email alternative under the phone field

Beneath the sign-up phone field the note reads US and Canada numbers only at this time, and Sign up with email instead switches the form to email. The sign-in page offers Sign in with email instead.

Text notifications go to US and Canada numbers

A text destination in your notification settings is a +1 field too, and the card says texts go to US and Canada numbers only at this time.

Terms say where numbers are available

The Terms now state that provisioned numbers, phone verification and text messages are available for the United States and Canada only, and that a subscription provides a dedicated US or Canada number.

Behind the scenes. Emails such as confirmations are sent once more on a fresh connection if the mail server drops the first attempt.
