1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ReadyToTalk ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and subscribers.

2. Description of Service

ReadyToTalk provides an AI-powered virtual receptionist service for small businesses. The Service answers phone calls, provides information to callers, books appointments, and performs other receptionist tasks using artificial intelligence. You forward your business phone number to a ReadyToTalk number to activate the service.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
• One person or business may not maintain more than one free account
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

4. Billing and Payments

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

• Free plans include limited minutes per month
• Overage charges may apply if you exceed your plan's included minutes
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activities
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Transmit spam, robocalls, or unsolicited communications
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
• Use the Service for any illegal telemarketing or phishing activities

6. AI-Generated Content

The ReadyToTalk AI receptionist generates responses based on the information you provide and its training. While we strive for accuracy, AI responses may occasionally be incorrect or incomplete. You acknowledge that:

• AI responses are not guaranteed to be 100% accurate
• You are responsible for reviewing and configuring the information your AI receptionist provides
• ReadyToTalk is not liable for any commitments or statements made by the AI to your callers

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your business data. We may use aggregated, anonymized data to improve the Service.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReadyToTalk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for a reasonable period to allow you to export it.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
